The man who died in today’s accident in Bustillo was park ranger Walter Ramón Puca

The Intendancy of the Nahuel Huapi National Park informed through a statement that it deeply regrets the death, at the age of 47, “of the dear colleague Walter Ramón Puca, who worked as a support park ranger (GA) with the Central Zone work team of the Protected Area”. The man impacted this morning once morest a power pole at kilometer 15 of Bustillo Avenue.

Near the dawn of this Sunday, and for the second consecutive day, a man died following a vehicle accident on Bustillo Avenue, in this case precisely at kilometer 15 of the aforementioned artery, following hitting a public lighting pole.

From the Nahuel Huapi National Park they issued a statement lamenting the fatal loss of their partner. El Cordillerano reproduces verbatim the lines written in his homage.

“Walter joined as a brigade member in 2004, being part of the first firefighting crews in the National Park, until 2012 when he was received as GA of the Fourth promotion.”

“Always committed to his work, he performed various tasks, but he mainly stood out in his training as a chainsaw operator, performing control tasks and felling trees at risk.”

“He left a person who was always willing to go out when required, humble, full of hope, a good companion, attentive, simple and always with a big smile.”

“We accompany his daughters, his family, friends and co-workers in such a painful moment.”
