The major sporting events of 2024

While the year 2023 was notably marked by the flawless organization of the Rugby World Cup on our territory, the year 2024 promises to be even more sporty with two big highlights, the Euro football in Germany and of course the Olympic Games in France. The whole world will have its eyes on Paris which will host this XXXIII Summer Olympiad.

President of Paris 2024, Tony Estanguet promises “a year of celebration and sport”. Much is expected from the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games which will take place on the Seine on July 26. A celebration which will undoubtedly leave its mark on the spirits and the history of the Olympics.

But it’s not just the Games. Sports fans will still have many opportunities to thrill in 2024. African Cup of Nations, Six Nations Tournament, Roland-Garros, Champions League, Tour de France, Euro football, Formula 1 season…, here are listed chronologically the main sporting events which will take place throughout 2024.
