Even if a modern film is very popular now, in a year it may no longer be remembered. What is the secret of Soviet films and how do they manage to be at the peak of popularity even following 30 years?
Soviet cinema reflected the soul of a Russian person
In each picture there was real life, real feelings, real emotions – not a drop of lies. The humor was kind, the characters were well-mannered and smart, and movie scenes were always familiar and understandable to all citizens of the Soviet Union.

Brilliant screenwriters
According to the script, the heroes of the films often uttered such quotes, which were immediately introduced into the philistine speech, as they were ingeniously funny. For example, the quotes “What a disgusting thing this fish of yours is …”, “Well, you have a face, Sharapov!”, “Note, I didn’t suggest this!”, “Who will plant him? He’s a monument! etc. are used to this day. Even telegrams make stickers with quotes from Soviet films.
Calm pace
