England’s ‘baseball’ recently became a part of the cricketing world and it did not take long for various teams to adopt this aggressive brand of cricket and it seemed as if the dying Test cricket had been revived.
Pakistani cricket fans used to complain that Pakistan does not play an aggressive game. They got to see a new brand of Pakistani cricket in the series against Sri Lanka, which fans are calling ‘Pak Ball’.
Under the same ‘Pak Ball’, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs in the second cricket test in Colombo.
This ‘Pak Ball’ is well demonstrated by the recent series against Sri Lanka, where the Pakistani batsmen displayed aggressive batting in both the matches.
In the second Test match against Sri Lanka, the Pakistan team scored 145 runs in 28.3 overs and the run rate went above five per over.
Clean wings?
Earlier, Pakistan had not won a single Test match in 12 months. A few months ago, due to England’s aggressive cricket at home ground, Pakistan faced a whitewash, which was certainly not less than a severe shock for them.
This strategy of England has been named ‘Bazball‘ because its creator is England coach Brendam McCullum and his nickname is ‘Baz’.
Perhaps after this shock at the hands of England, the Pakistani team decided to leave the traditional style and adopt aggression.
Now the fruits of this new style are coming. Pakistan has outclassed Sri Lanka and now they have reached the top spot in the Test cricket championship as well.
The fans hope that the Pakistani cricket team will adopt the same style of ‘Pak Ball’ in the upcoming matches as well.
After the victory in the second Test, former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar also endorsed the name ‘Pak Ball’.
While the Pakistan team was batting smoky on one side, the bowlers were also taking the Sri Lankan batters with open arms. After declaring the innings by scoring 576 runs in the second innings, when the Sri Lankan batsmen entered the field, no one thought that Nouman Ali would be at the throat of the Sri Lankan batting. One after the other, Nouman rained down on the Sri Lankan batters like monsoon rains here and thus Nouman Ali’s seven wickets took Sri Lanka.
Thanks to Nouman Ali’s brilliant bowling, he is currently among the top trends on Twitter and cricket fans can’t stop praising him.
A user named Usman writes in his tweet that ‘Naomi Chacha will not cut the cake after this match, he will cut the entire bakery.’
In his tweet, Sudresh Khan writes about Nauman Ali that ‘Today is full nomination’.
Another user wrote, ‘Make him PM, name a road after him, name a city after him, build a statue of him. The government should announce a five rupee note with Noomi Chacho on it. Naomi Chacha Supremacy, Legend’
5-for for nomi chacha. make him the pm, name a road after him, name a city after him, get him on a statue. government should announce a 5 rupees note with nomi chachu on it. NOMI CHACHA SUPREMACY, LEGEND pic.twitter.com/H3Fi70oAP5

**Interview with Cricket Analyst Farhan Malik on Pakistan’s New “Pak Ball” Style**
**Interviewer:** Welcome, Farhan! It’s great to have you here to discuss the emergence of Pakistan’s new style of play, dubbed “Pak Ball.” Can you tell us how this aggressive approach came about?
**Farhan Malik:** Thank you for having me! “Pak Ball” is certainly an exciting development for Pakistani cricket. After the recent losses, especially the whitewash against England, it seems the team felt the need to change their strategy. They saw how England’s “Bazball”—aggressive batting under coach Brendon McCullum—revitalized their cricket and decided to adopt a similar approach.
**Interviewer:** The recent series against Sri Lanka showcased this new style with impressive results. What specifically changed for the Pakistani team?
**Farhan Malik:** The transformation is remarkable! They have embraced a more aggressive batting philosophy, as demonstrated by scoring 145 runs in just 28.3 overs in the second Test. This is a significant departure from their traditional style. It’s not just the batting; the bowlers like Nouman Ali have also stepped up, taking crucial wickets and maintaining pressure on the opposition.
**Interviewer:** It’s been pointed out that before this series, Pakistan hadn’t won a Test match in 12 months. How critical do you think this recent success is for the team’s morale?
**Farhan Malik:** This success is crucial! Winning convincingly against Sri Lanka, especially by an innings and 222 runs, boosts the team’s confidence immensely. It not only raises their spirits, but it also restores faith among fans who have longed for a competitive and aggressive Pakistani team.
**Interviewer:** Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar endorsed the term “Pak Ball.” Why do you think it resonates with fans and the team alike?
**Farhan Malik:** “Pak Ball” captures the essence of what fans want to see: a team playing with flair and aggression. It symbolizes a new era for Pakistani cricket where they not only reclaim their place in the Test Championship but also entertain the fans. The term has become a rallying cry for both the team and supporters.
**Interviewer:** Looking ahead, what should fans expect from Pakistan in their upcoming matches?

The key now is consistency—if they can keep up this momentum, we might see them solidify their position at the top of the Test rankings. It’s an exciting time for Pakistani cricket, and everyone will be eager to see how they perform.
**Interviewer:** Thank you, Farhan, for your insights on this thrilling development in Pakistani cricket!
**Farhan Malik:** Thank you for having me! Let’s hope that “Pak Ball” becomes a standard style for our future games.
