Created in 2007 on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture, the Night of the Lanterns has grown a little more each year. In 2021, the artistic concept was revised to now offer a three-night event. Thus on September 15, the garden of Wiltz will be transformed for three nights into a magical and poetic place, dotted with handmade lanterns and which will serve as decorations to admire during the evenings of festivities.
Indeed, on September 16 and 17, in addition to the lantern installations designed by the British creator Bryan Tweddle and other creators who responded to a call for projects, the association Coopérations, which organizes Les Nuits des Lampions, invited many artists and musicians to perform on stage.
On the main stage, the public will be able to listen to the group Tahiti 80, Sylvie Kreusch, Benoit Martiny Band and Le Vibe. Acrobats and dancers (Hayato Yamaguchi and As We Are) will perform in the garden, which will also be animated by parades of young people wearing bright costumes. Magic shows, with Jonn Happi among others, or a photography exhibition is also on the program.
On September 15, 16 and 17, program details, practical information and tickets are available on
