Apple is rolling out a new update for computers running macOS Monterey. It allows the operating system to upgrade to version 12.3.1.

Apple fixes two bugs. The first is an issue with USB-C and Thunderbolt Display external displays connected to a Mac mini (2018) and used as a second display. They should now light up. We have also fixed an issue with some Bluetooth devices. Users are experiencing disconnection from gamepads following playing audio content with certain Beats headphones.
macOS Monterey 12.3.1, two vulnerabilities closed
On the security side, the firm plugs two flaws, CVE-2022-22675 and CVE-2022-22674. The first allows an application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. It is strongly advised to update your Mac. Computer attacks exploiting this failure have already been spotted.
The second is a fix for an Intel graphics driver. A security concern allows an application to read kernel memory. Apple is aware of reports that this issue is being exploited by hackers.
