On May 24, 2023, the director Rob Marshall (CHICAGO, THE RETURN OF MARY POPPINS) will plunge audiences into the heart of the oceans like never before with THE LITTLE SIRANDNOhis live-action reinterpretation of the famous Disney animation classic that won the Oscars in 1989.

Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, is a beautiful and fiery young mermaid with an adventurous temperament. Rebellious at heart, she is constantly drawn to the world that exists beyond the waves. At the turn of her escapades on the surface, she will fall under the spell of Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel still feels she must follow her heart. She then concludes an agreement with Ursula, the terrible witch of the seas, which grants her the power to live on dry land, but without suspecting that this pact puts her life and the crown of her father in danger…

THE LITTLE SIRANDNO has as main performers Halle Bailey (the “Grown-ish” series) as Ariel; Jonah Hauer-King (the “World on Fire” series) in that of Prince Eric; Daveed Diggs (the “Snowpiercer” series) which lends its voice to the Sebastian crab in the original version; Awkwafina (SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS) which lends its own to the Eureka seagull in the original version; Jacob Tremblay (GOOD BOYS) who lends his to Flounder fish; Or Dumezwini (THE RETURN OF MARY POPPINS) as Queen Selina; Art Malik (the “Homeland” series) in that of Sir Grimsby; Javier Bardem (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN) in that of King Triton and Melissa McCarthy (THE MANHATTAN FORGERY) in that of the octopus Ursula.
