In September 1983, the music educator Wolfgang Mayrhofer founded the “Jeunesse Choir” from students and graduates of the Linzer Stifter-Gymnasium. Fed by the unfailing source of the music high school, the choir has continually rejuvenated itself, although 40 years later there are still founding members. In all these years, the homogeneous sound body is still youthfully fresh in terms of ability, joy in singing and the quality of the literature.
