With an area of 1350 m2 and private guarded parking, the club was designed to be grandiose. At the helm, Olivier Da Silva, mastermind of this ambitious project, is one of the big names of the night. In terms of sound and light, it will be “a first in Belgium”, as he says. Everything will be in motion, the ceiling is equipped with 48 motors which will allow the artists to descend from the sky. Dressing rooms and an elevator have been set up for artists, guest stars or DJs.

The neighbors can rest assured, The LIFT is a real soundproof bunker with double concrete walls (2X25cm) and armored security doors. Good to know, shuttles will crisscross Brussels to bring young people to the club in optimal safety conditions. A network of cameras has been installed in the club, both in the parking lot and at strategic access points to prevent harassment, drugs and any inappropriate behavior. “No racketeering from customers, no unjustified refusal of entry or requests for tips will be tolerated,” management said. Inside the club, a team will be constantly alert to spot customers who have drunk too much or are feeling unwell. Bartenders, waiters and waitresses will be made aware of these issues and will be able to intervene from their respective positions.

On the music side, the objective is to best represent the diversity of current musical trends, to bring renowned artists to Brussels and to shine on the international scene while highlighting young talents. A full-time choreographer was hired to guide the club’s 8 to 12 professional dancers. There will also be pyrotechnics, fire eaters, a storm effect lasting a few seconds on the dance floor, confetti in abundance… Never before seen in Brussels!
