A gruesome discovery was made on Sunday January 1 in a field in Oedelem, Flanders. The lifeless body of a 59-year-old man has been found. According to information from the Nieuwsblad, the prosecution and the laboratory are currently on site to investigate the circumstances of this tragedy. It might be a hunting accident.
“I was called by the police when the body of the man was found in the fields along the Bruinbergstraat”, declared the mayor of the city, Jos Sypré, to our colleagues. “We must wait for the inquest for more clarity on the exact circumstances of the death,” he adds.
