La Montaña Leonesa attracts thousands of tourists in a record Holy Week.
Hotel beds have practically reached 100% occupancy, to which are added many others thanks to caravans, motorhomes and campers.
It can already be said that this Easter 2023 is setting a record for the Leonese Mountain, thousands of tourists have chosen their towns as a vacation destination, which has led to hotel beds reaching practically 100% occupancy, to which are added other many thanks to caravans, motorhomes and campers.
This is the case, for example, of Riaño, where, in addition to having completed the available beds, there is no room for one more vehicle, thus Holy Week has been an important boost for the towns of the Montaña de Riaño and Mampodre Regional Park, following a short snow season.
The City Council is delighted, “it gives jobs and means that many more people get to know Montaña de Riaño, especially if we treat them well because they are going to eat, drink and spend in the region”, highlighted the mayor, Fernando Moreno .
This is what we tried to achieve following investing in recent years in services for both tourists staying in establishments and users of caravans and camperswith public bathrooms, tables, fountains at different points, and the recent installation of stairs to access some of its most visited spaces… All this added to the ideas of neighbors and the offer of tourism and active tourism companies from area.
