Great: The Lemon Twigs Brian and Michael D’Addario maintain the level of their current studio album Everything Harmony with the new single coming out of nowhere My Golden Years.

Though so much has passed/ The only thing true is nothing can last/ And in the blink of an eye/ I’ll watch these golden years fly by/ Thinking back on the many times I cried/ What might’ve been if I stood up tall and tried“.
They last around three anachronistic minutes full of snappy nostalgia and bittersweet, exhilarating melancholy Twigs a disarmingly nice, up-tempo jangle-pop from the time tunnel, in which the melodies have an anthemic tendency that should enrapture harmonist Brian Wilson and even a shaking rock’n’roll twist for the John Lennons among the fans.

But the single becomes really cool in its last passage, when the vocals become more pressing and let the action end once more in a relaxed, spatial way.
The only thing better than the music here is the background information regarding the two brothers. My Golden Years be “regarding making every minute count and living up to your potential. In that sense I think that people like Mark Ruffalo or people who hike might like the song. Or it might be good while you’re working out.
