Game News The Legend of Zelda: The sequel to Breath of The Wild postponed, here is the new date!
Announced in 2019, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild is still shrouded in mystery! We were treated to a trailer during E3 2021 presenting us with new mechanics and what seems to be the Heavens, but since then it has been radio silence.
The adventure will wait a few more months!
Absent from Nintendo Directs since last summer, the sequel to
Breath Of The Wild was still expected for 2022, with a release that we might place somewhere at the end of the year. But it’s without warning that the various Nintendo accounts have released a new video featuring Eiji Aonuma, historical producer of the license. Unfortunately, the latter did not come to announce good news, the definitive title of the game, or give us an appointment for a dedicated Nintendo Direct, but to let us know that the game was pushed back to a later date.
The producer said that the team had decided to extend the development time of the game to finally put it in our hands during the spring of 2023! He also apologizes to players who hoped to be able to play there this year.

A reminder and a new image!
Despite everything, Eiji Aonuma takes the opportunity to recall the information that had been given, namely that the sequel to Breath of The Wild will not only take place in the areas explored during the first game, but also in the skies. He promises us that new horizons will open up to players and that many surprises will be discovered during the adventure and that new mechanics will be used. At the same time, the video that illustrates the voice of the producer shows us something we had never seen before ! In fact, we see the legendary sword, which seems to have been eaten away by something.
We are committed to making this game a decidedly special experience, and the entire team continues to work diligently to bring this project to fruition. We therefore ask you to have a little more patience.
Note that it is unlikely that Nintendo will give any news of the game by the end of the year. We therefore expect the organization of a presentation of the gameplay of the game before the end of the year, as this was the case for the first opus. In the meantime, be patient, Hyrule will open its doors to us in due time.
