On February 10, 1923, a century ago, Wilhelm C. Röntgen, a mechanical engineer, physicist and doctor of science from the University of Wurzburg, died in Munich. as one of the largest for the development of universal medicine, of which we are all currently recipients.

The aforementioned professor, when perhaps due to a circumstance that was not random but not precise either, he was working with a cathode ray tube, discovered a strange radiation that made it possible to know and see what until then (11/8/1895) was impossible: to look inside the body of someone who was still alive and not undergoing surgery. On the aforementioned date, Radiology Day is universally remembered.
