Patrick Mahomes is probably the best quarterback in the NFL. The 27-year-old has won the Super Bowl twice with the Kansas City Chiefs and has been named MVP of the season twice.
While he may still have most of his career ahead of him, he’s already concerned regarding how he’ll be remembered later.
“I think everyone thinks regarding their legacy and how you’re remembered. I think you have to evaluate every day, how you can get better, how you can maximize every single day,” the passer told the ” Associated Press”.
Anyone who does that would have no regrets following their career. “That’s what I’ve always preached. It’s not regarding the success of that day, it’s regarding not having regrets at the end of your career,” he explained his attitude.
“I think if you work hard every day and put everything you have into the game, then it doesn’t matter how many trophies and how many Super Bowl rings you have. You’ll end up looking back on your career and regret nothing.”
