The Front of the Left and Workers Unity (FITU) presented two lists to compete in the Primaries, Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory (PASO) next August 13 in Neuquén. Both spaces accompany different presidential formulas, on the one hand that of Myriam Bregman and Nicolás del Caño and on the other the one made up of Gabriel Solano and Vilma Ripoll.
Angélica Lagunas will be in charge of leading the list of deputies for Neuquén of “Unite and strengthen the left” space that accompanies Bregman at the national level. The Neuquén leader is a teacher and general secretary of Aten Capital.
The payroll is also made up of a member of the Humanities Student Center, Julieta “Mechón” Ocampothe health worker and leader of the Pan y Rosas women’s groupJuliet Katcoff, the environmental referent, Stephen Martinethe textile worker Traful Newen, Franco Vergara and the young Gaston Rivero.
As a candidate for Parlasur for Neuquén, will be the current provincial deputy Andrés Blanco.
The other list that will be presented is called “Unidad de Trabajadores y la Izquierda” and supports the presidential duo Gabriel Solano and Vilma Ripoll.
This proposal, also from the FITU, It has Patricia Jure as its first deputy candidate and Nicolás Mc Namara as its second.
Jure has an extensive history of militancy and legislative positions in Neuquén, both in the field of the capital’s Deliberative and also as a member of the left-wing bloc in the Legislature.
Mc Namara is a leader of the MST and also coordinated by the Eco-socialist Network, with an important path taken in environmental protectionist actions.
For Natalia Alegria, a militant and teacher from the capital Neuquén, is contesting the bench in Parlasur for Nequuén, “Unity of Workers and the Left”.
The national left debated their candidacies on June 17, during a massive plenary session in the Plaza del Congreso de la Nación. There the two formulas for the STEP were determined. With that defined, inside the spaces that make up the FITU presented their lists accompanying the proposals.
