Even before the last regular season home game on Saturday once morest Bruck/Trofaiach (8:20 p.m. live on ORF Sport Plus), there is a cheering mood among the handball players at HC Linz AG:
Mislav Grgic does not exercise his option to move abroad and will stay in Linz until summer 2025. “I feel very comfortable here and think that I can still do a lot with Linz and improve significantly,” said the Bosnian backcourt player, who leads the league’s top scorers list with 142 goals.
“The fact that Mislav will stay with us for another year is a very important thing for our team,” says coach Milan Vunjak happily.
“He has already proven his quality this season. I think he has the potential to become an even better player,” the Slovenian continued. Grgic recently made it to the League All-Star Game, just like Lucijan Fizuleto, Florian Kaiper and Jadranko Stojanovic.
