-What is the season tally:
“The Report for this year is considered positive since we managed in the first season following the return to A1 National to stay in the category, in fact, the goal was achieved with a few additions and with young children who played a leading role in the team and of course I think that this was the most important of our year”.
– Giorgos Doskas stated that it was a very difficult goal to stay. Do you agree?
“Agree. It is a particularly difficult goal if you imagine that usually whichever team goes up next year falls directly from the division. It is important and difficult, but we worked very hard all year and in the end we got what we deserved and what we aimed for from the beginning.”
-You are now 41, will you compete in the new year and if so, have you thought regarding when you will hang up your hat?
“No, I haven’t thought regarding it yet and every summer the year for me is special and like it’s new. I will talk to the coach we will have with the management and from there I will make my decision. However, I feel good, I am competitive, I enjoy and love what I do, but other things always play a role in a decision!
-Is the level of A1 national polo increasing in recent years?
“I would say the level is quite good, but it might be better if things were better from a financial point of view because the athletes are professionals with amateur fees, but the love and passion of everyone involved raises the level”!
-What does it mean that Patras has representatives in almost all National teams?
“Patra has a long tradition and of course it continues, polo is in the father’s DNA, but of course the work done in the academies plays a role. To these add the love, passion and passion of all those involved in polo! And of course our history plays a role and this is a very important part which makes us have a greater responsibility in what we have to give”!
