The launch of the second phase of the “mobile clinics” in Dubai

Her Excellency Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, witnessed the second phase of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences program for mobile clinics, which targets 150 senior citizens registered with the Ministry of Community Development, the Community Development Authority, and the Emirates Association for Senior Citizens Friends, in The headquarters of the “Thukher Social Club” of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, and within the framework of providing free health care to them by volunteer doctors and specialists, on October 17 and 18, 2022.
The event was attended by Nasser Ismail, Assistant Undersecretary for the Social Welfare Sector at the Ministry of Community Development, Dharar Belhoul, Federal National Council member, Muhammad Al-Kashf, Federal National Council member, Hariz Al-Murr, Executive Director of the Care and Development Sector at the Community Development Authority, and Maryam Al-Salman, Director of the Association The Emirates to the friends of senior citizens, a number of officials, volunteers and the families of senior citizens.
A package of free field services is provided within the framework of joint cooperation between the National Program for Happiness and Quality of Life of the Ministry of Community Development and the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where fully equipped mobile clinics continue to provide their services to the target groups, by doctors and specialists from the university. In addition to medical students and postgraduate students in dentistry, with the support of a number of volunteers, to organize and facilitate the delivery of mobile clinic services to all target groups.
The treatment services provided to senior citizens include: vital signs, dentistry, ophthalmology, side community activities, and gift distribution. The Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences program for mobile clinics, within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, seeks to provide its treatment services to people of determination, senior citizens and children in the Emirate of Dubai, with an estimated number of beneficiaries during the last quarter of 2022 at about 800 beneficiaries of various categories.
The program will continue in its third phase during the month of November 2022, to provide free and integrated health care to a number of people of determination.
