The launch of the “iQoo Z6” and “Z6x” phones for the middle class with powerful specifications

IKO, the Chinese smartphone maker, unveiled its latest versions of mid-range devices that feature powerful specifications and settings for an acceptable price.

The company launched the iQoo Z6 and Z6x in China, promising to provide them with a unique performance experience.

As for the iQoo Z6, the device features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD screen, FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2388 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a sampling rate of 240 Hz.

The new phone is powered by an octa-core “Snapdragon 778G +” processor developed by the American company “Qualcomm”, paired with an “Adreno 642L” graphic processor.

The processor works with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 built-in storage, and the phone weighs about 194.6 grams.

The phone, which supports two “nano” SIM cards, runs on the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box with the company’s traditional “OriginOS Ocean” interface.

The phone has a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

For biometric security, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and “Face Wake” facial recognition technology.

The phone supports 5G networks, Bluetooth v5.2, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.

For photography, the iQoo Z6 features a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens slot, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens slot.

The rear camera setup supports 4K video recording and FHD slow motion recording.

The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 lens slot for selfies and video calls.

The price of the basic version of the “iQoo Z6” phone, which comes with 8 RAM and 128 GB of storage, starts from 248 dollars, while the highest version in the lineup (12 RAM + 256) comes at 307 dollars.

The phone is available in “Golden Orage”, “Ink Jade” and “Star Sea Blue” color options.

iQoo Z6x

The iQoo Z6x features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2408 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The phone is powered by the Dimensity 810 processor developed by Media-Tech, paired with a Mali-G57 graphics processor.

The phone runs on the “Android 11” operating system with the “OriginOS Ocean” interface.

The processor works with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 built-in storage.

The phone comes with a 6000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

The phone supports two 5G connections, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.1. It weighs about 204 grams.

The phone also includes a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and includes Face Wake technology.

For photography, the phone has a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera.

IQOO, owned by Vivo, has set the price of the basic version of the iQoo Z6x phone, which comes with 6 RAM and 128 GB of storage space, at $ 175, while the higher version (8 RAM + 256) comes at $ 233.5.

The phone is available in color options: “Blue Ice”, “Black Mirror” and “Blazing Orange”.
