Dyson announces a new Airwrap for this summer with many new tips.
Hair accessories from Dyson are among the most popular in recent times is one of them is called Airwrap. It is a “curling iron”, also capable of straightening, with hair that seems to be modeled as if by magic. The Airwrap Complete, with its six tips, cases and accessories, is sold for €550. Today, Dyson announces a new version for this summer. Faster and with new tips to work your hair even more easily.

The Airwrap uses a high pressure motor to take advantage of the Coandă effect, which sucks hair (and air) into its surface. Dyson explains that since the launch of its Airwrap in 2018, its engineers have constantly “miniaturized and multiplied the Coandă effect” to make the device ever more versatile.
In addition to its performance gains, the company has designed new end caps. The most intriguing of these, for those familiar with the current model, comes in the form of rollers that can curl hair clockwise or counter-clockwise. Before, you had to check the arrows on the roller to be sure of the right direction. And if you wanted to change in the middle of your hairstyle, you had to change the roller. With this new roller, all you have to do is flip a small button on the top. These rollers are available in various lengths for different curl sizes.

There’s also a new smoothing drying attachment which, as the name suggests, helps straighten and dry your hair. Dyson has also added hard and soft brushes, in small or large sizes, for a stiff finish.
Dyson also stated that owners of a current Airwrap can “upgrade to the new tips while keeping their original machine”. And like the previous version, the new Airwrap can also work on damp hair and do its job without overheating.
The price of this new version has not been communicated, but Dyson Airwrap products usually cost around 500 €, there is a good chance that the brand will remain in the same price range.
