The late artist Nour Al Sharif left an artistic legacy that is difficult to enumerate, his legacy and his memory remain immortal in the hearts of his fans and lovers of his fine art, but despite this, the artist lived a very harsh childhood, especially following the death of his father when he was one year old.
This is in addition to many secrets that no one came close to, but Nour himself told them at an early stage of his life, and recorded them during his confessions to those close to him.
Nour al-Sharif recounted in an old dialogue to him regarding his suffering, saying: “One of the teachers called Ali in the classroom, saying: “Where is the student Muhammad Jaber? I did not respond to him until the teacher came to me and explained my real name, so I answered him that my name is Nour Ismail, because they used to call me by the name Nour in my uncle’s house, so the teacher told me then from today your name is Muhammad Jaber, and when I returned I asked my aunt and she revealed the whole truth to me.”
And regarding his relationship with his mother, he said that he refused to shake hands with her when she married another man following his father’s death, and that when his mother came to take him, he refused because he hated her very much, so he ran to take cover in his aunt’s lap. People on the street gather around the kidnappers and take them to the police station.
Nour al-Sharif’s loss of his father made him at first fear a lot regarding the idea of marriage, believing that he might repeat what happened, and that he would die at the same age as his father. However, his culture and his desire for reading and knowledge built a wall of confidence within him that made him not fall prey to this obsession.
The artist Nour El Sherif said in a television interview: “His relationship with his late mother remained tense for many years, because of her marriage following his father’s death, and that he was angry with her a lot because of what she did, especially because he loved his father very much, and he remained so until he joined the Film Institute, and studied psychology, At this moment, Nour found a thousand excuses for what his mother had done,” and that he regretted his harsh treatment of his mother; Because her marriage was really for her, especially since she was young.
It is reported that the late able artist Nour El Sherif was born in 1946 in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood in Cairo Governorate, and his family origins go back to Minya Governorate. He started acting in school, where he joined the acting team, as he was a player in the football cubs at the Zamalek club, but he did not complete his football career, and then turned to the field of acting.
Nour El-Sherif presented several roles for Egyptian cinema, starting in 1966 through the movie Qasr Al-Shawq, and in 1999 he presented the movie The Lovers, in which he tried directing for the first time, and starred in drama through his series, the most famous of which are: Al-Akher, Al-Dali, Hazrat Abu Al-Atham, Al-Hajj Metwally family, Al-Attar and Al-Saba’ Banat, Al-Rahaya), and several historical series, the most important of which are: (Harun Al-Rashid and Omar bin Abdul Aziz).
