Naughty Dog recently confirmed on Twitter that they are actively working on patch 1.0.4 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I, slated for release next week. The developers assure players that the patch will include frame rate optimizations, graphics and texture quality improvements, crash fixes, and more.

The release of The Last of Us Part I on PC was marred by many issues, requiring several patches to address a wide range of issues. Known bugs that players have experienced include longer than expected shader load times, performance and stability issues when shaders are loaded in the background, and issues due to outdated graphics drivers. Some players have reported that they are unable to load the game even if the minimum system requirements are met, as well as potential memory leaks, mouse and camera shake depending on hardware and display settings, and corrupted or neon textures in the game.

With the upcoming release of patch 1.0.4, Naughty Dog is committed to fixing the remaining bugs so that players can enjoy a smooth gameplay experience without any hiccups.
