The LASK returns to Pasching today for a double dress rehearsal

In a week, Bundesliga soccer team LASK will start the 2024 competitive season with a real top game: In the cup quarter-finals, the athletes will host champions Salzburg next Friday (6 p.m.). Today, coach Thomas Sageder’s team is warming up at a double dress rehearsal for the cup highlight: In two games lasting 90 minutes each, every LASK kicker should get plenty of playing time once morest the Slovakian first division team FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova.

LASK coach Sageder doesn’t think too much of it: “We’ll try a few more things. We’ll only deal with Salzburg from Monday.” However, the debut of Bayern new signing Lucas Copado in the black and white jersey is certain. Sageder: “He made a good impression in the first training sessions and is a very technically adept guy.”

However, too many people won’t be able to witness his first appearance for LASK live: Linz will lower the roll bars – the test match will take place in Pasching behind closed doors. While the LASK players have finally moved to the Linzer Gugl for training since Monday, it is still quite conceivable that they will return to Pasching for one or two test games in the future.

BW-Kicker relax on the beach

For city rivals Blau-Weiß Linz, regeneration was the main focus yesterday in Side, Turkey, following the first camp test on Wednesday (0-0 once morest Paksi): Before things get more intense once more today with two training sessions, the BW players have yesterday’s followingnoon off enjoyed by the sea or visited the holiday resort on the Turkish Riviera.
