The population of several communities in the Tata region is worsening due to the spread of poisonous reptiles and insects, a danger whose impact sometimes reaches death, due to the lack of anti-venom serums in the health center in Isafin and in the regional hospital in Tata.

According to what was stated in a written question directed by the Authenticity and Modernity Team in the House of Representatives to the Minister of Health and Social Protection, the first aid and local capabilities that victims of poisonous reptiles and insects receive are modest, stressing that there is no choice for the injured person except more patience, clinging to life, and enduring the hardship of the road to the regional hospital in Agadir to receive treatment. Bearing the burdens, costs and financial bills.

The team explained that the Isafin community is one of the rural areas with a semi-desert climate in Batata, and it is a mountainous area that is a natural incubator for various types of poisonous reptiles and insects, which enhances its constant need for anti-toxin serums.

The tractor team in the House of Representatives stressed the need to allocate a budget to provide these serums in the health center located in the territory of the Isafin community, as well as in the Batata Regional Hospital, to relieve the victims of the suffering of movement, while they are between life and death.

Accordingly, the Authenticity and Modernity Team in the House of Representatives asked about…
The procedures and measures that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection will take regarding the lack of anti-venom serums in the health center in Esfen and the regional hospital in the Tata region, in order to remedy this situation and save the lives that fall victim every year to the bites of poisonous insects and reptiles.
