Gérond’if, headed by Olivier Hanon, aims to bring together players working in the fields of geriatrics and gerontology in Ile-de-France in order to boost research, innovation, industrial development and training on Ile-de-France territory.
The project supported by the Foundation consists in helping elderly people and their family and professional carers discover, test and evaluate the “gerontechnologies” from the Mobile Living Lab in Gérond’if, in order to – ultimately, issue recommendations and evidence scientists to transform and adapt them.
Gérond’if has all the skills to promote study and masters the entire circuit of
research, project development, obtaining the opinions of the competent authorities, operational implementation, data management in accordance with regulations, statistical analysis, drafting of activity reports and publication of the results in specialized scientific journals.
Selected for their innovative and concrete character in the service of aging well, these winners will benefit from financial support and support from the Foundation. All of the applications received were assessed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors according to various criteria: relevance, impact, replicability, feasibility and timeliness of implementation.
In addition to financial support (a total envelope of 200,000 euros has been allocated to these 9 projects), the La Mutuelle Générale Corporate Foundation will remain mobilized alongside project leaders to support them and contribute to the proper development of their initiatives. .
