The tycoon previously hinted that the Russian president would have branded him that way for helping Ukraine
Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov commented on Tuesday the words of businessman Elon Musk that Russian President Vladimir Putin would have called him a “war criminal.”
“Apparently, Musk was misinformed or rather misrepresented. It seems to be another hoax. Putin never said that,” the spokesperson said at a press conference.

The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla tweeted on Sunday that he had been told the Russian leader called him a “war criminal” for helping Ukraine. “He’s Not Exactly My Best Friend” he claimed.
Thus, the tycoon responded to a user who, in turn, had made reference to a publication by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, in which he affirmed “will disappear” referring to Ukraine, because no foreign government needed a country controlled by the “Nazi regime.” The netizen asked the businessman why Twitter allowed the presence of Russian leaders on the network and did not comply with the sanctions once morest Moscow.

“All news is, to some extent, propaganda. Let the people decide for themselves,” Musk replied, rejecting thus the calls to block the accounts of Russian politicians.
