The Kremlin accused Ukraine on Monday of constantly changing its positions on issues already agreed upon in peace talks.

“Contacts are continuing at the expert level within the framework of the negotiation process,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call.

“Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side is inconsistent with regard to the points that were agreed upon,” he added. He continued, “He is constantly changing his positions and the direction of the negotiation process.”

Russia sent its forces into Ukraine on February 24 in what it described as a “special military operation”. The Ukrainian forces are fiercely resisting and the West has imposed sanctions on Russia.
