The much-controversial Kohli-Gambir war of words after the Bengaluru-Lucknow clash is yet to end. Lucknow’s Afghan player Naveen Ul Haq, who is one of the main protagonists in the controversy, has once again posted on social media targeting Virat Kohli on the issue.
Lucknow shared a picture with mentor and former Indian superstar Gautam Gambhir on Instagram. The accompanying text reads, ‘Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to.’
Responding to the post, Gambhir also came forward, “Whoever you are..keep it up!! ‘Never change’.
Naveen responded to Gambhir’s reply as 100 percent sir.
Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100 percent of the match fee and Naveen was fined 50 percent of the fee following the scandal that caused much embarrassment in the IPL. But Naveen’s post and Gambhir’s reply indicate that the controversy is far from over.
