The knife murder in Oslo: The two accused have been remanded in custody

The Oslo district court also imposes partial isolation on them for the entire period.

– My client cooperates well with the police and has given a detailed explanation of what he knows about this case. Based on what he has explained to the police, he has not committed any criminal offence, and he does not plead guilty, says lawyer Bjørn Rudjord in a press release.

He defends one of the accused – a man in his early 20s.

The other accused is a man in his late 20s. His defender, lawyer Christian Flemmen Johansen, informs The daily newspaper that his client agreed to remand for four weeks. The imprisonment issue for him was thus treated as so-called office business, i.e. without a physical appearance in court.

– Otherwise, he has not been questioned for health reasons, so I cannot comment on the case beyond that, says Johansen.

Relatives of the deceased, a man in his 20s, have not yet been notified. Efforts are being made to appoint a solicitor in the case, the police say.

One of the two accused was questioned on Sunday.

– The police want to interrogate the other accused as soon as possible, but there is no agreed time for this, the police write.
