Kiss is doing like Abba and becoming avatars. The virtual show is to be launched in 2027, is the idea. And Gene Simmons takes the opportunity to pay tribute to Abba. In addition, it is Björn Ulvaeus’ company Pophouse Entertainment that is behind the decision – they recently bought the entire Kiss song catalog and brand.
– I have always loved that band. Who doesn’t? I’ve never felt like I needed to see them live, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t awesome. You really can’t complain about the songwriting, it’s really good.

The bass player – and the man with the long tongue – is scheduled for double Sweden gigs: July 29 at Dalhalla in Rättvik and July 31 at Liseberg, with his Gene Simmons band.
Abba is not the only thing Gene Simmons appreciates about Sweden.
– I love Sweden. The Swedish culture and food is amazing, and the people are very beautiful – especially the women. Over the years, I have learned certain Swedish words, such as “you are cute”, “seventy-seven” and of course “rump”.
