The construction of the Kingdom Tower, which will be built at a height of 1000 meters, has resumed. With the completion of the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, the record of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, will be Jeddah Tower. Jeddah Economic City is overseeing the project.

The initial phase of the project, including the main tower, is spread over an area of 1.5 square kilometers. The residential complex in Jeddah Tower will have 2 to 6 bedroom flats and will ensure a high standard of living for the residents. Besides, there will be many facilities like shopping mall, luxury boutique, restaurant, tennis court etc. in this tower. Also, the world’s highest observation station will be prepared for this purpose. Jeddah Tower will have many features including luxury hotel, office and residence.

It was announced that the tower, which was announced in 2011 and construction started in 2013, will be completed in 2019. The construction of the 50-storey high building was delayed due to some reasons.
