The England national team will play in the Euro 2024 semifinals once morest the Netherlands on Thursday (11/7) early morning WIB. However, for the thousands of people who have tickets to watch The Killers at London’s O2 Arena, they are at risk of not being able to watch the match.
Luckily, the American band had a solution. They broadcast the climax of the Euro 2024 quarter-final match on the big screen.
As the Euro 2024 arena in Germany erupted as England were confirmed to have won the match at the end of the match, The Killers enlivened the celebrations by playing their hit song, Mr Brightside.
“I’ve been to some great concerts and I’m a little sad that my birthday present to see The Killers at the O2 coincided with England’s Euro 2024 semi-final,” wrote writer Tim Shipman in X.
“Then they did this and we partied to my favorite song. Perfect,” he continued.
Sky journalist Martin Kimber wrote: “Possibly the most goosebumps moment of my life. Killers showed the Euros before England won and then played Mr Brightside.”

Another concertgoer, Amelia said, “England getting to the final and The Killers playing Mr Brightside straight away will always be in my memory.”
England secured their place in the Euro 2024 final when substitute Ollie Watkins scored in the 90th minute.
The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers watched the final minutes of the England vs Netherlands match with the crowd before joining in the cheers as the game ended.
Drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr then appeared wearing an England national team jersey.
