On August 31 and September 1, the Kaliningrad region will join the all-Russian training of remote electronic voting (DEG). The federal platform will be tested simultaneously in three time zones in seven regions of the country, the Central Election Commission of Russia reported on Monday, August 22.
All voters who have applied for participation in electronic voting will receive an invitation to participate in the training.
The press service of the CEC said that during the elections it will be possible to remotely vote in 165 election campaigns, in total 390 types of electronic ballots will be prepared. A special monitoring portal will be opened for general access to monitor DEG – stat.vybory.gov.ru
The senator and a member of the CEC believe that the West is trying to influence the election of the governor of the Kaliningrad region.
