The Kabila camp’s response to Augustin Kabuya

During a political morning held this Saturday March 30, 2024 in Kinshasa, the secretary general of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS), Augustin Kabuya, accused Joseph Kabila of being responsible for the war which is rife in the east of the country.

A declaration which did not leave the Kabila camp indifferent. In a statement received by the editorial staff of acturdc.com this same Saturday evening, Joseph Kabila’s communications advisor affirms that the accusations of the secretary general of the presidential party border on madness.

“The irresponsible comments of Mr. Kabuya of the UDPS border on madness. The only head of state in the entire history of the DRC to organize democratic elections followed by a peaceful alternation which had as its first beneficiary this same party can flee, better abandon what he has invested his whole life in? Or even be the basis of any destabilization of this same nation? It’s incoherent to think along these lines”said Barbara Nzimbi.

At the same time, she underlines that the Congolese have understood that the UDPS is a party which only complains and falsely accuses others.

“Fortunately the Congolese people have understood the modus operandi of the UDPS: “Complain and falsely accuse others”, forgetting that leading is also taking responsibility. This umpteenth distraction can only arise as this party seeks to divert the attention of the Congolese in the face of its inability to manage the country, Joseph Kabila bequeathed to the UDPS an entire country that this same party continues to destroy; this, year by year since 2019 »she stressed.

Furthermore, Barbara Nzimbi indicated that Joseph Kabila is not accountable to the UDPS.

“Exited in due form, President Joseph Kabila is not accountable to the UDPS and continues and respects his agenda, particularly his academic responsibilities to assume; he will return to his country freely whenever he wants; and this, without any restrictions. To the dreamers, keep dreaming”, concludes Joseph Kabila’s communications advisor.

According to Augustin Kabuya, the former President of the Republic, Joseph Kabila fled given that it is he who is behind the war raging in the east of the country with the M23 supported by Rwanda.
