The junior national team flies to Algeria on August 21 to participate in the Arab Cup

The technical staff of the junior national team, led by Mohamed Wahba, has set a date to travel to Algeria, to participate in the Arab Junior Cup, which begins on August 22 and will continue until September 7.

The team decided to travel to Algeria on August 21, provided that the mission will be headed by Dr. Ihab El-Koumi, a member of the Board of Directors, and the team is scheduled to decide the list of players traveling to participate in the tournament within hours, as the announcement of the list was postponed due to the position of some injured players and the desire of the technical staff to give the opportunity For all talents to present themselves during the camp currently held in Ismailia.

The draw for the Arab Junior Cup was made for the Egyptian team in Group D, along with the Saudi teams, Syria and Lebanon, with the kick-off once morest Saudi Arabia on August 24, before facing Lebanon on Saturday, August 27, and the group stage campaign ends with facing Syria on Tuesday, August 30.

The technical staff of the junior national team, “born in 2006”, includes Mohamed Wahba as technical director, Moamen Abdel Ghaffar as general coach, Essam Abdo as coach, Youssef Taher, goalkeeper coach, Dr. Hussein Fattouh Khalil, team doctor, and Ahmed Sami Nassar as administrative director.
