On June 20, a murder that shocked the society occurred in Egypt. A female college student, Naira Ashraf, was attacked by a 21-year-old male classmate, Mohamed Adel, outside the Mansoura University (Mansoura University) where she was studying. Stabbed to death. Adel was sentenced to death by an Egyptian court on the 6th of this month, but the court did more than that. It also petitioned the parliament, hoping to amend the law so that Adel could live broadcast the whole process of hanging, so as to set an example.

According to the British “Daily Mail” report, Adel has always had a good impression of his sister’s classmate Ashi Laf, and even proposed to her, but was rejected by Ashi Laf. Because of this, Adel held a grudge. On June 20th, while Ashlav was on his way to the school to take the final exam, he directly intercepted him at a place outside the school, and then stabbed Ashlav frantically, which led to Ashlav’s death. He was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest, and eventually died. At that time, there were also some witnesses who saw the terrifying scene directly. They saw Ah Shi Lafu lying on the side of the road, blood splattered all over his body, which was quite terrifying.

In the end, Adel was arrested, and his murder was confirmed, and the case entered judicial proceedings. However, the Egyptian court broke the myth that “killing a person will not be sentenced to death” and quickly sentenced Adel to death two weeks after the incident. Not only that, but the judge later petitioned the parliament, hoping to amend the law so that Adel could broadcast the whole process publicly when he was hanged. The court wrote in the petition that simply live-streaming the sentence cannot achieve the purpose of deterring crimes.“We hope to broadcast the live broadcast publicly, and even if only part of the first screen is broadcast, it can achieve the goal of deterring crime and set an example.”

It is reported that Adel’s lawyer has appealed and said: “We still have 60 days to try to protest the death penalty.” However, this incident not only shocked the Egyptian people, but also felt uncomfortable by netizens in other countries. Regarding the decision of the Egyptian court, many netizens directly shouted: “This judgment is too good!”, “In troubled times, it is necessary to use a heavy code.”
