After nine hours of anxiety, little Domenico Gallo, the two-year-old boy who disappeared in the Serralta district of Locorotondo, in the province of Bari, has been found. The child had wandered away from the courtyard of his house and after a long search he was found four kilometers away from his home.
A huge relief for the family. The father was reached by the cameras of Tg 4 a few moments after hearing the good news. He explained that his son had gone away for four kilometers, a huge distance for his age, and thanked his fellow citizens who after the alarm worked to search for the little boy.
The little boy was found unharmed on a road towards Laureto, near a silkscreen printing shop. The search for the 2-year-old boy began at 11 this morning, when his mother noticed that the little boy, who was playing outside the family home, was no longer there. Law enforcement searched the area and drones and Navy helicopters took flight. Volunteers from the Alpine and Speleological Rescue team were also on the scene, as well as citizens of Locorotondo.
