In the Renault group’s latest results, which correspond to the first quarter of 2022, Dacia is once once more the lifeline. While the parent company plunged 26% (being weighed down by the shortage of semiconductors), the Romanian rose 5.8%.
Dacia is still driven by the success of the Sandero and Duster. The city car is even the best-selling vehicle to individuals on the Old Continent. But the brand is also resisting the storm that is shaking the European market thanks to its latest launches. La Spring confirms its amazing start. 9,000 units were registered in the first quarter in Europe, and more than 20,000 orders were recorded over this period.
The great novelty of 2022 in the Dacia network is the Jogger. This family vehicle replaces both the Lodgy and Dokker. And if the latter had a more mixed success compared to the rest of the range, the Jogger looks set to be a new hit. In four months, Dacia indicates that it has recorded 36,500 orders, a level higher than its forecasts.
The most expensive versions represent 70% of orders. Not surprisingly, the most expensive model being an “Up&Go” offer with the promise of fast delivery. The GPL version is also appreciated, it accounts for 60% of purchases. If it is the least powerful of the range, it allows you to melt your fuel budget.
