Al-Marsad newspaper: The Jeddah Municipality revealed, in a media statement, the reasons for not demolishing the house of the artist Talal Maddah – may God have mercy on him – in the Al-Rawabi neighborhood on the old Makkah road.
The spokesman for the Municipality, Muhammad Al-Baqami, explained that the house of the artist Talal Maddah in Al-Rawabi neighborhood was not excluded from the removal work, but its removal was postponed until its status is studied by the Slums Committee.
He pointed out that the neighborhood was evacuated from its residents and electricity was cut off from the homes, in preparation for its removal, and it is among the 32 neighborhoods being removed in the governorate.
