The jeans that (perhaps) you don’t know

Some things you may not know regarding the under the rock brand:
1. You know him even if you don’t know that you know him.
2. The brand actually started as a family company established in the nineties.
3. For years they have been major players in the field of jeans in Israel, but until a few years ago they made sure to stay behind the scenes and produced for many Israeli fashion companies and international brands (remember that a few years ago I was obsessed with the Australian jeans brand One Teaspoon? They produced them!).
4. In 2017, the under the rock brand was officially established. They are associated with jeans, but they have all kinds of other important items such as striped shirts.
5. The jeans are produced in China under the daily supervision of the brand’s people and great care is taken with the source of the fabrics and the washing plant (the most problematic and polluting step in the jeans production process). This meticulousness is what differentiates simple jeans from jeans that last for years.
6. Thanks to that agenda, you won’t find too trendy jeans, excessive washes, fraying or tears there. All items are classic and ready to start working hard in your wardrobe.
7. Recently they started to do collaborations with other Israeli brands that we like: they managed to make a denim line together with Ononoko and Meshachit and a knitwear line with Doreen Frankfurt.

In honor of our first collaboration There will be a 15% discount on the entire website and store (including the collaborations and including the sale) with the code shelly15.
The code will be valid until 1/27 at midnight.

Three things you should know:
* The jeans come up to size 32, but some models will also fit larger sizes (I wear size 33 at everlane and 46 at Ronen Chen, and some of the under the rock models in size 32 are still good for me. You can consult them regarding sizes and you can take advantage of the try at home option).
* try at home: Anyone who buys jeans or knitwear can add to the order more sizes that she wants to try.
* For those who can, it’s worth coming to the store (Pines 44 in Tel Aviv). There is parking on site, but it is nice to arrive by light rail or park in the station parking lot and walk through the railway park or Shebazi Street. The part of Pines Street between Shabazi Street and the railway is one of the most beautiful (and it also has a cafe and a flower shop). The store also has models from previous seasons and samples that are not on the website.

It was hard for me to choose, but I did some private shopping anyway:

-Obsidian model jeans: straight and classic that goes with everything in the closet. I don’t want to say “I’m not taking it off” because it sounds salesy and pushy, but I have it in the dark blue and I’m not taking it off (the dark is over, take a look at this color). It is one of the spacious models that will also suit women with sizes 44-46. Other models worth checking out if you are in these sizes: flint, breccia.
– The striped knit from the collaboration with Doreen Frankfurt.
– A denim jacket in the cut of a work jacket that has a hat that can be removed, and large pockets in the front that can be accessed from both the bottom and the side.
– Jeans that I really like. It didn’t work out between us but I don’t monitor.
– A classic denim shirt from the collaboration with Meschit.
– Striped shirt. They have a lot of striped shirts, this is a relatively thick rim in the picture, but there are also thin ones, for example this one.

“She examines me, loosens my tie, shakes her head. “Drop your tie,” she advises. “Always wear as little as possible, if only so that the others will worry that they are overdressed.”
(Jay McInerney, Exemplary Behavior. Translation: Amnon Katz).

In the movie “Inside Llewyn Davies” it was said that if a song was never new and would never get old, it’s a folk song.
The same can be said regarding jeans.
(Oscar Isaac sings Roar. Because that’s what I needed this morning).
