Beautiful and very sad ???? But full of meaning ❤️ A telephone to talk to the followinglife thanks to the wind that carries words ????
This is the philosophy of the Japanese “Wind Cabins”, where this idea comes from: inside rests an unconnected telephone, lifting the handset carries the voices in the wind, words towards loved ones in the followinglife.
Before going to this place I recommend you read the book “What we entrust to the wind” by Laura Imai Messina which talks regarding a cabin located in Japan, on Whale Mountain: this is where I first learned regarding this Japanese custom and this is where I fell in love with it.
You can’t imagine the emotion of being able to entrust even my words to the wind. And there would be so many.
For this installation we have to thank Marco Vanni, the creator of this all-Italian installation and Podere Tegolaja ????????
