The Patagonian University Institute of the Arts(IUPA) ppresented an innovative proposal to include a new degree in Rock. It is a four-year degree that is awaiting approval.
The IUPA presented the Bachelor’s Degree in Natural and Cultural Heritage Management as the new career that seeks to be implemented in the city. They reported that it has already been presented to the National Directorate of University Management dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Nation, where they hope it will be approved.
They explained that the new degree includes an intermediate degree in University Technology in Heritage and Cultural Management. In addition, it is expected to have an in-person course plan that will take place at the Patagonian Museum of Natural Sciences “Juan Carlos Salgado” and the Patagonian University Institute of the Arts, CPRES Sur.
It will be a four-year degree that was launched as a joint effort between the IUPA and the Museum.
The university made the official presentation for its recognition and thus obtain the national validity of the degrees – Bachelor’s and Technical Degree – at the end of September with the corresponding documentation.
They pointed out that “The proposal will be included in the university’s educational offering soon,” and they added that it is a proposal to expand training possibilities in the region and in turn, continue with the endorsement and prestige of the public university.
