The Israeli army storms cities and towns in the West Bank and besieges the Tulkarm camp

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that Israeli forces stormed the Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank, surrounded it from all sides and imposed a curfew.

Witnesses indicated that the Israeli army began the process of demolishing infrastructure, shops, and homes, amid the outbreak of armed clashes with Palestinians.

Witnesses spoke of hearing the sound of explosions from time to time in the camp.

They explained that the army began evacuating Palestinian families from the Sawalma neighborhood in the camp.

The Israeli army also surrounded Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city of Tulkarm, and searched ambulances, according to witnesses.

In turn, local sources reported to Anatolia that the army stormed the city of Qalqilya and raided the Kfar Saba neighborhood amid the outbreak of an armed clash with Palestinians, in addition to a series of night raids targeting the towns of Azzun and Jayyus, east of the city, the Askar camp east of Nablus (north), the Dheisheh camp, and towns in the Bethlehem governorate. And towns in Hebron Governorate (south).

The sources confirmed that Israeli forces arrested a number of Palestinians in the West Bank, the number of whom was not specified.

In parallel with its war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli army escalated its operations in the West Bank, leaving in addition to the arrests 496 dead and about 4,950 wounded, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health as of Saturday evening.
