The Israeli army arrests two young men and raids various areas in the West Bank

Palestine – The Israeli army fired live bullets and sound bombs at Palestinians and their homes on Thursday evening as part of a campaign of raids that targeted various areas of the occupied West Bank.

These raids resulted in the arrest of two young men from the town of Ya’bad, southwest of the Jenin Governorate, in the northern West Bank, while clashes took place in the areas that were raided, during which the army used live bullets and tear gas, according to the official Palestinian news agency, Wafa.

Israeli forces stormed the town of Ya’bad, raided a number of homes, and placed snipers on the roofs of a number of them in the northern neighborhood, according to the agency.

Wafa reported that these forces “arrested the two young men, Ali Mahmoud Saleh Qabha and Tariq Ahmed Saleh Qabha, after raiding their families’ homes.”

The occupation forces fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at Palestinians and their homes, according to the agency.

In the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, an Israeli force stormed the village of Tal, southwest of the city, amid heavy gunfire, which led to clashes with Palestinians, according to the same source.

In the Shuafat camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted with Israeli forces, during which soldiers fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at Palestinians, without any injuries or arrests being reported.

In parallel with its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which has led to the killing of 710 Palestinians, the injury of about 5,750, and the arrest of more than 10,700, according to official Palestinian institutions.

While the Israeli war, with absolute American support, on Gaza left more than 136 thousand Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10 thousand missing, amidst massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters.
