Update from November 13th, 9:58 a.m: New details on the situation at hospitals in the Gaza Strip. According to a UN report, two premature babies and ten other patients have died at Al-Shifa Hospital since the total power outage on Saturday (November 11).
The UN emergency relief office OCHA refers to information from the Hamas-run Ministry of Health. The information might not initially be independently verified. Accordingly, 36 other premature babies who rely on incubators and therefore electricity and several dialysis patients are in acute danger of death due to the power outage.
