Vienna (OTS) – The Islamic Center Vienna is opening its doors once more and cordially invites anyone interested to explore the mosque. On this day we offer a welcoming atmosphere to learn more regarding the religion, culture and everyday life of the Muslim community. Our mosque is not only a place of prayer, but also a place of encounter, dialogue and neighborliness, which is why we offer a varied program, including mosque tours, the opportunity to silently participate in prayer and the opportunity to have conversations with Muslim “Living Books ” respectively.
The highlight of the day is an exhibition on the topic “50 years of the Islamic Center Vienna” with the builder of the mosque, Mr. Richard Lugner, who will also talk regarding the construction of the mosque.
