The story of Mawar AFI is still not over from the public spotlight. As if he had fallen on a ladder, now he is being policed by Steno Ricardo’s team of lawyers.
Steno Ricardo’s team of lawyers objected to Mawar’s statement which stated that there were scenarios of divorce and infidelity.
The mother of three was accused of defamation following claiming that Steno’s lawyer had fabricated evidence of infidelity, including accusing the victim of making a unilateral divorce decision. Mawar AFI also admitted that she was forced to sign an affidavit of cheating and spread the news to electronic media.
The report has been submitted to the Depok Police on suspicion of spreading slander and defamation.
“So last Thursday, we received a case report that was suspected of defamation on behalf of the alleged reported person with a known name Mawar AFI from the ex-husband’s side by a lawyer,” said Head of the Depok Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Yogen Baruno in his office.
Mawar AFI was reported to the Depok Police on February 24, 2022. Steno Ricardo’s team of lawyers, in this case as the reporter, was written under the name Bimo Suryo Hardjanto.
“We would like to convey the progress of the clarification that we have given previously. On February 23, 2022, we have conveyed the clarification to the Legal Counsel Team, in which in essence we do not accept if it is linked and is considered to be ‘fabricating’ the trial, “said the team. lawyer Steno Ricardo.
“Considering recent developments, where Mawar has not corrected her statement–and considering the growing public opinion–in the end, we decided to report Mawar to the police. Attached is the report certificate for our mutual reference. It should be noted that this reporting action was taken. we do it purely on our own behalf, not on behalf of our client Steno Ricardo.”
Previously, Mawar AFI accused her ex-husband of playing with their ex-baby sitter. Not only that, in his previous social media upload, Mawar AFI also indicated that Steno Ricardo’s lawyer made up evidence of infidelity.
However, Mawar AFI did not stop revealing the problems of her household which had been divorced. Seen in her Instagram Story upload at the end of last week, Mawar AFI also said some things she thought were odd regarding Steno Ricardo, her ex-husband.
