The UAE embassy in Kiev called on its citizens not to travel to Ukraine. In this context, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Kiev called on Kuwaiti citizens in Ukraine to communicate with the embassy, and the embassy asked, in a statement, citizens to contact it on the emergency phones. This came following Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Finland called on their citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible amid the tense situation in the country.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stressed that Russia has deployed more forces to Ukraine’s borders and may intervene militarily in its territory “at any moment”, while Russia has repeatedly denied having any plans to attack Ukraine, stressing that That its forces’ movements within its borders do not threaten anyone and fall into Russia’s internal affairs, and blamed the West for fueling hysteria over the issue.
