In order to win back its audience, Apple should offer a new version of its iPad Pro in 2024. On the other hand, the bill risks being steep.

In recent weeks, Apple has been on all fronts. While the brand faces overheating problems on the iPhone 15 Pro, the Cupertino company recently launched its new Macbook Pro equipped with the M3 chip.

However, Apple does not intend to stop there. If the year 2023 was marked by the absence of new tablets from Apple, the brand might well hit hard in 2024. We are thinking in particular of the arrival of a new iPad Air, equipped with a larger screen.

In addition, for some time now, Apple has noted a slight slowdown in sales of tablets. A decline which is largely explained by the end of the pandemic and the reduction of teleworking. To remedy this problem, the American firm might, in addition, offer a new iPad Pro modelwith particularly attractive characteristics.

An OLED screen and an M3 processor for the iPad Pro 2024?

Specializing in news around Apple, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has once once more unearthed new information concerning Apple’s future high-end tablets. And the least we can say is that the next iPad Pro does not seem to skimp on means.

Currently equipped with a mini-LED screen, the iPad Pro might switch to OLED as early as 2024. According to the analyst, the panel used by Apple would use the LTPO screen technology already present on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. As with the current version of the iPad Pro, the screen would have a 120Hz refresh rate and Pro Motion technology.

The icing on the cake, Ming-Chi Kuo also clarified that the iPad Pro would be the brand’s first tablet to use M3 processor, which is crushing the competition at the moment. On the other hand, the latter did not mention possible variations equipped with the Pro and Ultra variants of the M3 chip.

OLED screen and M3 chip would be planned both on the 12.9 inch model and the 11 inch model. However, given the new features brought by the brand, the next iPad Pros might well see their price increase. It remains to be seen what the price offered by Apple will be.
